DFAC Light Trucks Now Being Produced Alongside Mercedes and Isuzu in Morocco
On September 24, a team from Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. (DFAC) conducted an in-depth visit to its KD factory in Morocco, led by General Manager Li Junzhi. The factory is now producing Dongfeng light trucks alongside well-known brands Mercedes and Isuzu, marking a significant step in Dongfeng's global manufacturing efforts.
During the visit, Li Junzhi met with the factory manager to discuss production capacity, processes, and quality control. He praised the factory's efficient and standardized production capabilities, especially in the face of growing competition in the commercial vehicle market.
The KD factory adheres to Dongfeng's global manufacturing standards, ensuring each light truck undergoes thorough quality checks before leaving the factory. The same skilled workers assemble vehicles from all three brands, enhancing Dongfeng's competitiveness in the global market.
Li Junzhi also examined the key stages of production, from component assembly to final testing, and commended the technical staff for their efforts. The factory manager confirmed that their equipment and processes meet the demands for large-scale production of Dongfeng light trucks, backed by a rigorous quality control system.
Li Junzhi emphasized that Dongfeng is committed to maintaining high global manufacturing standards to ensure product quality and satisfaction for customers worldwide. He expressed a desire to strengthen ties with Morocco and bring more high-quality commercial vehicles to international markets, aiming to rank among the top three in the local market over the next three years.
Looking ahead, Dongfeng plans to leverage its global manufacturing platform to continuously improve product quality and innovation, fulfilling diverse customer needs while expanding its market share in Morocco and beyond.
