2024 Canton Fair Schedule Announced: Opening on October 15
The 136th Canton Fair will officially open at the Canton Fair Complex on October 15, 2024. Qualified domestic buyers can apply to attend the event in person starting today.
The Canton Fair, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Guangdong Provincial Government, is organized by the China Foreign Trade Center. It is recognized as the longest-running, largest, and most diverse trade fair in China, attracting the highest number of buyers. Often referred to as "China's No. 1 Fair," it serves as a barometer and compass for China’s foreign trade.
Since its inception, the Canton Fair has faced many challenges but has never been interrupted. It has successfully held 135 sessions, establishing trade relationships with 229 countries and regions worldwide, with a cumulative export turnover of approximately $1.5 trillion. Over 10 million overseas buyers have attended the fair in person and online, significantly boosting trade exchanges and friendly relations between China and countries around the world.
Several leading truck manufacturers will participate in the upcoming 136th Canton Fair, highlighting the industry's growth and innovation. Among the exhibitors are Weichai New Energy, Sinotruk, China FAW Group Import & Export Co., Ltd. (also known as Jiefang), Dayun Automobile, Chengdu Dayun, Jiangling Import & Export Co., Ltd., Shanxi Victory Automobile, Liuzhou Wuling New Energy Vehicle, and Shaanxi Heavy Truck Import & Export Co., Ltd. (also known as SHACMAN).
In addition to truck manufacturers, key supporting enterprises in the truck industry will also be present. These include Yuchai, Fuhua Axles, Lopal, and CST Tire.
This event will serve as a platform for these companies to showcase their latest products and technologies, reflecting the ongoing advancements in the truck and automotive sectors. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of vehicles and components, reinforcing the importance of the Canton Fair as a leading international trade event.
