On October 15th, the 136th China Import and Export Fair (also known as Canton Fair) kicked off in Guangzhou. At the 136th Canton Fair, WEICHAI New Energy unveiled the world's first pure electric high-roof light truck, the LANDKING EH, in the presence of sales leadership and key customers. Built on the advanced 135kWh battery platform, this innovative electric truck represents a significant milestone for WEICHAI New Energy in the light truck market. With features like blade batteries, large battery capacity, low energy consumption, and ultra-spacious space, the LANDKING EH redefines what an electric light truck can be, offering users a more efficient and practical solution for transportation.

Unveiling Ceremony of the World’s First High-Roof Pure Electric Light Truck

Designed specifically for urban deliveries, this all-electric high-roof truck is equipped with a 135 kWh WEICHAI Findreams high-energy density blade battery, offering a range of up to 400 km. The truck also supports fast charging—reaching 80% charge in just 30 minutes—perfect for busy urban deliveries. Additionally, this truck features a high-roof cab, providing exceptional comfort for drivers during long hauls.

LANDKING ER: Light but Powerful

In addition to the EH, WEICHAI New Energy also showcased the mini truck LANDKING ER. This electric truck features a lightweight chassis and a range of 200 km, designed to handle the challenges of city logistics. It’s powered by a 66.84 kWh high-energy-density ternary lithium battery from CATL, delivering strong performance. The ER also got impressive cargo capacity, a stylish look, and a smart interior design that’s especially popular with younger drivers.

Global Visitors Show Strong Interest

Both trucks caught the attention of international visitors right away. Many came over to take a closer look, with several even getting inside the vehicles for a hands-on experience, leading to numerous orders on-site. While others were particularly impressed by the spacious high-roof cab and the WEICHAI Findreams high-energy density blade battery, which enhances their efficiency and comfort for long journeys. A few visitors, especially those from logistics companies, mentioned they were eager to see these models soon available in their own countries.
