FAST's 40,000th Heavy-Duty Automatic Transmission Rolls Off Production Line
On October 23, FAST celebrated a major milestone as its 40,000th heavy-duty automatic transmission came off the production line at Xi'an FC Intelligence Transmission Co.,Ltd. The event also marked the official launch of a new test bench, highlighting Fast's progress toward high-quality development.
At the ceremony, Ma Xiuyao, Party Secretary and Chairman of FAST, and Corey S. Wurtzbacher, Vice President of Caterpillar Mining Sales, both gave speeches and unveiled the 40,000th transmission together.
Chairman Ma emphasized that the production of the 40,000th transmission is a significant achievement for Xi'an FC Intelligence Transmission Co.,Ltd. and a result of the successful partnership between FAST and Caterpillar. He reiterated FAST continued support for Xi'an FC Intelligence Transmission Co.,Ltd. encouraging employees to stay focused and confident in their development goals. He highlighted the need for further investment in technology, innovation, digitalization, and quality control to ensure long-term sustainable growth.

Corey S. Wurtzbacher expressed his gratitude to FAST for its ongoing support of Xi'an FC Intelligence Transmission Co.,Ltd.. He noted that the strong collaboration between Caterpillar and FAST, along with FAST’s excellent distribution network, has enabled Xi'an FC Intelligence Transmission Co.,Ltd. to deliver high-quality products and services. The market share and recognition of heavy-duty automatic transmissions have steadily increased, paving the way for deeper cooperation in the future.
The 40,000th transmission, the F6A75 model, is independently developed by FAST. It is lightweight, compact, and equipped with advanced technologies such as multi-speed limp-home mode, main oil pressure control, and selective lubrication. These features make it a leader in its class, filling a gap in the domestic market for automatic transmissions in this torque range. The F6A75 is widely used in off-road vehicles, RVs, buses, and specialty vehicles, and has gained a strong reputation among users with promising market prospects.

To support future growth, Xi'an FC Intelligence Transmission Co.,Ltd. has also invested in a third test bench, which is now fully operational. This will ensure a smooth launch of new products and help ramp up production capacity.
Several key executives, including Rodney Harms, Vice President of Caterpillar's Large Powertrain Division, and Wang Yafeng, Vice General Manager of FAST Group, witnessed this important moment along with employees from Xi'an FC Intelligence Transmission Co.,Ltd.
