DeepWay Enters New Zealand Market With First Electric Truck Delivery
Chinese electric truck manufacturer DeepWay has signed a dealership agreement with a local partner in New Zealand and completed its first vehicle delivery in the country, marking the company’s official entry into the New Zealand market.
The move represents a further step in DeepWay’s international expansion following its launch in Australia. The agreement outlines plans for collaboration on vehicle localization, service networks, and charging infrastructure to better adapt the trucks to New Zealand’s terrain and transport needs.
During the signing event, representatives from both sides discussed product features and technical specifications. The New Zealand partner toured DeepWay’s electric trucks, reviewing their structural design, battery layout, driver-assistance systems, and range capabilities. A test drive showcased the vehicles’ stability, energy efficiency and ride comfort, which were well received.
Company representatives said the partnership reflects mutual trust and a shared commitment to advancing low-carbon and intelligent transportation solutions. Both parties plan to deepen cooperation in areas such as customized technology and after-sales support.
DeepWay, which specializes in smart, electric, and low-emission trucks, aims to provide efficient long-haul logistics solutions to global markets. The company said it will continue expanding its global presence and enhancing overseas service and delivery capabilities through additional international partnerships.
