Windrose Delivers Second Batch of Electric Trucks to Rongqing Logistics
Windrose has begun delivering a second batch of its 670 km long-range all-electric heavy-duty trucks to Rongqing Logistics, marking a new phase in their partnership.
Windrose and Rongqing Logistics formed a strategic partnership in 2022. Between 2023 and 2024, the two companies carried out joint tests across multiple logistics scenarios in China. The first batch of trucks was delivered in May 2025. Since then, the partners have provided electric freight transport services for global customers, including France’s Rémy Martin and Germany’s Rittal.
The cooperation has progressed through several key milestones. In 2023, Windrose Technology announced the completion of its financing at the New York Stock Exchange and launched joint testing of new energy intelligent heavy trucks with Rongqing Logistics and Decathlon. In 2024, Windrose, together with Rittal and Rongqing Logistics, completed a 604 km zero-emission transport run, using 72% of the battery. In May 2025, the 670 km long-range electric heavy truck was officially delivered to Rongqing Logistics. Two months later, in July, Windrose electric trucks completed a 2,015 km journey on the Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway with only three charging stops, supporting fully electric long-haul transport for Rémy Martin on major routes such as Beijing–Shanghai, Shanghai–Guangdong, and Shanghai–Chengdu.
The delivered trucks are built on Windrose’s Global E700 platform, which is certified under regulatory systems in the United States, Europe, and China. When fully loaded, the trucks can travel up to 670 km on a single charge. They are equipped with a battery pack of more than 700 kWh, an 800V high-voltage system, and support megawatt-level dual-gun fast charging. Over a full lifecycle of one million kilometers, the trucks offer lower total operating costs than conventional diesel heavy trucks.
Windrose electric heavy trucks have now been deployed and tested in 24 countries across five continents. The vehicles have been validated in a wide range of operating conditions and have set performance and operational records in several markets.
In Australia, the trucks achieved a global record for electric heavy trucks by operating at a total weight of 68 tonnes and climbing an 18% gradient. In the United States, Windrose electric trucks covered 9,326 km in 14 days during the Run On Less heavy truck range challenge. In Europe, Windrose partnered with CEVA to complete a 1,383 km transport run in Spain with only two charging stops.
