26 Mining Trucks with FAWDE Power Exported to Northwest African Countries
Recently, 26 wide-body mining trucks from Shandong Pengxiang, including the XP115 and PX136 models, were exported to Northwest African countries such as Guinea and Mauritania.
These trucks are powered by the Jiefang Power CA6DX3 engine and have already started working in large local mining areas.
This is also an important breakthrough for Jiefang Power in the overseas mining truck market.
It shows that Chinese mining equipment is entering the global market at a faster pace.
Guinea and Mauritania are important mining countries in Northwest Africa.
Local mines often face very tough working conditions, including high temperatures, heavy dust, long uphill roads, and heavy-load transportation.
Because of this, mining trucks need strong power, high reliability, and good performance in harsh environments.
The exported XP115 and PX136 trucks are equipped with the CA6DX3 engine, which was specially developed by Jiefang Power for wide-body mining trucks.

The CA6DX3 is a 16-liter engine with a maximum output of 770 horsepower and peak torque of 3300 N·m.
Compared with similar products, its power performance is more than 10% stronger, while transient response performance is improved by 5%.
The engine uses several key technologies, including a 2500bar electronically controlled high-pressure common rail system, laser-welded steel pistons, and an active oil-gas separator.
These technologies improve heat resistance and durability.
Even in high-temperature and high-dust mining environments, the engine can continue running steadily.
It also helps solve common mining transport problems such as slow heavy-load starting and weak climbing power.
At the same time, Jiefang Power and Shandong Pengxiang jointly developed a “golden powertrain” system combining the CA6DX3 engine, an eight-speed mining transmission, and Pengxiang mining axles.
This integrated power system improves the matching between the engine, transmission, and axle.
It not only delivers strong power, but also helps reduce fuel consumption and improve operating efficiency.
As the first batch of vehicles begins stable operation in overseas mines, Jiefang Power is helping Chinese-made mining trucks gain more recognition in the global mining industry through reliable product quality and strong performance.
