XCMG Accelerates Local Expansion in Europe with New Strategic Partnerships
XCMG is accelerating its expansion in Europe through new strategic partnerships covering local production, market development, and sales and service networks.
At IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 in Hanover, XCMG showcased a range of new-energy commercial vehicles and green transportation solutions.
The lineup covers different applications, including new-energy construction vehicles for urban development and engineering work, as well as the XCMG Hanjing heavy-duty truck for medium- and long-distance freight transport.
The products attracted interest from customers and visitors at the show. At the same time, XCMG worked with partners in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Türkiye to expand its local business in Europe.

The cooperation focuses on several areas, including KD local production, market development, and the development of local sales and service networks.
Products Designed for European Market Needs
Europe's transport industry is moving toward lower-carbon and new-energy solutions. For electric commercial vehicles, customers are looking not only at energy consumption, but also at payload, charging and energy replenishment, and vehicle availability.
Market requirements also vary across Europe because of differences in regulations, road conditions and driving habits.
To address these differences, XCMG is developing products for different markets and applications. Local road, climate and operating conditions are taken into account during vehicle development and system integration.
IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 has provided XCMG with an opportunity to further develop its European business.
During the show, XCMG held discussions with a major customer from Türkiye on product applications, market demand and local operations. The two sides also signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
In Austria, XCMG visited a local factory to discuss KD local production. The visit helped prepare for future cooperation and production activities.
In the Netherlands, XCMG met with local shipping and logistics companies and reached an agreement in principle on future logistics cooperation.
Together, these activities cover several key steps in XCMG's European expansion, from product introduction and local production to market operations.
From Vehicle Sales to Integrated Solutions
In addition to new-energy vehicles, XCMG is providing customers with integrated green transportation solutions.
The solutions cover vehicle selection, charging and energy replenishment planning, connected vehicle management and full-lifecycle services. Through its “vehicle-charging-network-service” system, XCMG aims to support customers throughout vehicle operation and fleet management.

After vehicles enter service, technical support, spare parts and after-sales service are important for daily operations.
For the European market, XCMG is gradually expanding its local service capabilities and working with local partners to improve customer support.
The company is also using feedback from customers to improve its products and services. Information from real-world vehicle operations can be fed back into product development to better meet customers' long-term operating needs.
By combining products, local partnerships and service capabilities, XCMG is continuing to build its presence in the European market.
Going forward, XCMG will continue to work with European partners to develop new-energy commercial vehicle products, KD local production, and local sales and service networks, while providing more solutions for Europe's transition to greener transport.
