FAW TRUCKS Ships First 210 Trucks to the UAE
FAW TRUCKS has shipped its first batch of 210 trucks to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking an important step in its expansion into the Gulf market. The shipment marks a shift from dealer network development and product preparation to vehicle deliveries in the UAE. It also supports the company's plans to expand sales across the Gulf region and strengthen its presence in West Asia.
To support its business in the UAE, FAW TRUCKS' West Asia regional office worked with internal teams, local partners, and professional service providers to address key challenges, including local regulatory requirements. These efforts helped resolve operational issues and support order fulfillment and future market development.

For its dealer network, FAW TRUCKS partnered with a leading local automotive dealer group. The partner has been investing in brand development and expanding its sales and service network. It has also established dedicated teams for sales, after-sales service, and spare parts, while providing staff training and developing relationships with key customers. These efforts are helping establish a local network for vehicle sales, after-sales service, and spare parts supply.

FAW TRUCKS is also developing more than 10 truck models to meet local transport needs, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. The lineup includes tractor trucks, cargo trucks, dump trucks, and concrete mixer trucks, covering heavy-, medium-, and light-duty segments. These products will support sales through local dealers and help the company serve a wider range of transport applications.

Logistics planning was another challenge due to uncertainty caused by tensions around the Strait of Hormuz. The UAE team worked closely with customers, shipowners, and logistics partners to coordinate transport capacity and shipping arrangements, ensuring the successful shipment of the first 210 trucks. The team is also arranging transport capacity for future orders.
FAW TRUCKS plans to strengthen cooperation with neighboring markets and further develop its local operations in the UAE. These efforts will support the company's “SPRINT 2030” internationalization strategy and its broader global expansion plans.
