FAW TRUCKS Opens Vietnam Company to Strengthen Southeast Asia Presence
FAW TRUCKS officially launched its Vietnam company in Hanoi, Vietnam, on October 12. The new company, FAW TRUCKS Vietnam Co., Ltd., will serve as FAW TRUCKS International’s Southeast Asia regional headquarters.
Leng Changchun, Assistant General Manager of FAW TRUCKS Group Co., Ltd. and General Manager and Party Secretary of FAW TRUCKS International, attended the opening ceremony with Peng Yuquan, General Manager of the Southeast Asia region and FAW TRUCKS Vietnam Co., Ltd. Representatives from major local dealers, service providers and suppliers also attended the event.

Leng said the new company marks an important step in FAW TRUCKS’ overseas expansion and a new starting point for its growth in Southeast Asia. He noted that success in overseas markets requires more than selling trucks. It also depends on strong products, sales and service networks, and local operations.
FAW TRUCKS will continue to build its presence in Vietnam, put customers first and strengthen cooperation with local partners. The company will also improve its business operations to support the implementation of its “SPRINT 2030” international strategy.

Peng said FAW TRUCKS International’s Southeast Asia business covers 20 regional markets. The company has established subsidiaries and offices in several markets, while local assembly operations are moving forward. It plans to introduce products across its full range in stages and further improve its service network and spare parts supply.
The launch of FAW TRUCKS Vietnam marks a new stage in FAW TRUCKS’ regional organization and market operations. It is also part of the company’s broader efforts to expand its overseas business and strengthen its presence in key markets.

Looking ahead, FAW TRUCKS Vietnam will use Vietnam’s strategic location to better coordinate regional resources and market operations. It will also work to align products, marketing, sales channels and services. Together with local partners, the company aims to put the “SPRINT 2030” strategy into action and support its long-term growth across Southeast Asia.
