SINOTRUK Trucks Support F1 Activities at Sepang Circuit
SINOTRUK supplied three trucks for Formula 1 Paddock Club activities at Malaysia's Sepang International Circuit, using the event to showcase its HOWO and SITRAK brands and strengthen relationships with local customers and partners.
Working with its Malaysian distributor Sendok Group, SINOTRUK provided the trucks to transport spectators around the circuit during the race weekend. The vehicles featured custom liveries and were paired with specially designed trailers. According to the company, the trucks were standard production models and did not require modifications for the event.

Formula 1 places a strong focus on speed, timing and reliability. For commercial vehicles supporting event operations, dependable performance is also essential to keeping activities on schedule.
Qiu Xiuliang, Chief Representative of SINOTRUK International's Malaysia Office, said the event offered an opportunity to demonstrate the quality of SINOTRUK vehicles while meeting distributors and customers.

“Imagine all the spectators looking at our vehicles. This is a demonstration of the quality of the SINOTRUK brand. It shows our confidence,” Qiu told Asian Trucker.
He also noted that SINOTRUK sees major sporting events, including Formula 1 and football, as important platforms for international brand exposure.

SINOTRUK has been selling HOWO trucks in Malaysia since 2009. Over the years, the company has collected feedback from local customers and used it to improve its products for the market. Qiu said this experience has helped the trucks meet local operating needs, including Malaysia's climate.

According to Qiu, SINOTRUK now operates in 150 countries, with its market share continuing to grow.
The F1 weekend also gave SINOTRUK an opportunity to thank long-term partners and meet key customers. Guests were invited to watch the races from the Paddock Club hospitality area and see the branded SINOTRUK trucks operating around the circuit.
For SINOTRUK, the event combined brand promotion with customer engagement, bringing its commercial vehicles into a high-profile sporting environment while reinforcing its focus on reliable performance and long-term cooperation.
