FOTON Delivers Over 100 Light-Duty Trucks to West Africa
West Africa – 19 Dec. 2025/Chinatrucks.org/ – FOTON Motor has recently delivered more than 100 light-duty trucks to a key market in West Africa, marking another milestone in the company’s regional expansion. The vehicles were handed over at a major logistics hub and will soon be deployed in infrastructure projects and urban logistics operations.
The delivery underscores FOTON’s continued investment in the West African market and highlights the growing role of Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturers in supporting regional economic development through reliable products and localized operations.
The shipment includes AUMARK light-duty trucks, designed for demanding operating environments. Equipped with efficient powertrains, the vehicles balance performance with fuel economy to help reduce operating costs. Their reinforced chassis and high payload capacity improve durability and transport efficiency across varied road conditions. Available in both flatbed and box-body configurations, the trucks are designed to maximize loading efficiency and cargo space. Following extended use in the local market, the models have demonstrated strong reliability, durability, and driving comfort, and are widely used in sectors such as construction, logistics, and wholesale and retail.

Also included in the delivery is the MILER series, which has gained market recognition for its consistent quality and dependable performance. With strong load capacity and high adaptability, MILER trucks are suited to complex road conditions and intensive operating environments. The series has been further optimized to meet the specific needs of West African users, supporting applications in transportation, construction, and agriculture.
The bulk delivery further strengthens FOTON’s position in the West African light-duty truck segment. In recent years, continued infrastructure investment and steady urbanization across the region have driven rising demand for urban distribution, building material transport, and general logistics. This has created sustained demand for durable and adaptable light-duty trucks. By closely aligning its product offerings with local operating conditions and customer requirements, FOTON has secured repeat orders from commercial clients. The order is also among FOTON’s largest light-duty truck export deals in West Africa in 2025.

FOTON has established an extensive sales and service network across West Africa, offering broad market coverage. Its commercial vehicle portfolio spans heavy-duty trucks, light-duty trucks, and mini trucks, supporting a wide range of transport needs from large-scale construction projects to urban delivery operations.
