2.0 TCI engine of JAC has been awarded as2009 national top ten engines
(chinatrucks.com, Jan.11, 2010)Recently, the selection results of "Chinese heart 2009 annual top ten engines" have been unveiled. Participating in the selection for the first time, JAC 2.0TCI engine stood out in the fierce competition full of strong competitors and successfully won the award of the top ten engines.
The fourth selection of the top ten engines is launched by FPT Fiat Power train--the global automotive industry leader in power train, as well as the professional automotive authoritative media "Cars and Sports", the awards of which were chosen by the experienced experts from the industry of academic, media and automotive test centers after comprehensive evaluation of all the candidate engines based on the technical data provided by automotive manufacturers. After these years’ development, it has been widely believed that the selective results are professional、authoritative and fair. This year, around the theme of "energy-saving、environmental protection and powerful China", all the engines awarded were featured with high efficiency and low energy consumption.
The relevant staff of power research institute of JAC R&D Center and market department attended the ceremony. The director of power research institute Jin Suhua accepted the award and the media interview. Talking about JAC engine products, Mrs. Jin introduced that JAC 2.0TCI engine was the gasoline engine developed independently and massively produced for the first time in China. JAC used various new technologies to solve numerous technical bottlenecks of turbocharged gasoline engines. The engine power has broken through 60KW / L and got into the ranks of the international advanced level of 70KM / L. Compared to the engines with the same emission, the fuel economy is 10% lower. The emission has reached the state Ⅳ level. It also has exceptional handling through the systematic and universal design; JAC 2.0TCI engine has an obvious cost advantage
