Weichai plans to double global sales in next three and five years
(chinatrucks.com, April 30, 2010) It is said by Weichai Power Share Co., Ltd, the largest diesel engine manufacture in China, that global sales proportion is to plan doubled in next three or five years.
Weichai has procured Baudouin France and established subsidiary in Singapore in 2009, which aimed at European and Southeast market. At the moment, global sales is taken 7% of company overall sales volume.
Net profit of Weichai Power has been increased 77% in 2009, amounts to 341,000,000 euros. However, net profit of the first quarter in 2010 is 161,900,000, which has increased 350%, and is nearly approaching half of the annual profit in 2009.
It is learned by reporter that sales revenue of Weichai power is about 3,500,000,000 euros, and sales revenue of Weichai Group is 5,260,000,000 euros. It demonstrates that most of the sales revenue of Weichai Group comes from Weichai Power.
