JAC to hit mini truck market
(chinatrucks.com, Sep 10, 2010) Anchi will be the mini vehicle production base of JAC in accordance with strategic layout and development plan of JAC auto. JAC Anchi Auto Company Limited will take 760 meters area by the end of 2012. The investment will reach 50 million Euros, and it will realize the annual capacity of 100,000 mini vehicles and 30,000 SUV, and pickup production capacities.
JAC is initiated with light truck, and then expanding sedan, heavy truck and bus area. It is announced by JAC that it will cooperate with Yangrong not long ago. New JV company has been established to produce new energy autos.
Mini vehicles become the key area for domestic auto enterprise to expand business area because of low starting line, and large sales volumes.
Chery, Huachen, Beiqi Foton and Haima have announced to march mini vehicle area before.
