Yuchai group is to increase 6 casting production lines
(chinatrucks.com, Sep 20, 2010) Guangxi Yuchai Machine Group has invested to establish diesel engine casting center on Sep 16th, 2010. The first production line has been put into production at March, 2010. Accumulated production volumes of cylinders castings have reached more than 56500 by the end of August. Production capacity of every hour has been increased from 30 to current 60. The second production line will be put into production recently. Overall investment of the casting center is about 200 million Euros, and the planned area is 1800 square meters. Six more casting assembly lines shall be produced.
It is predicted that annual capacity of light, medium and heavy diesel castings are about 300,000 tonnages after the center has been completed and out into production. Aluminum alloy diesel engine casting is about 250,000, and large diesel engine casting is about 30,000 with annual value 370 million Euros, and it has become the largest diesel engine casting production base in Asia.
