Yuchai sets up base in Nanning

(chinatrucks.com, Sep 26, 2010) As one of the key programs of Yuchai in 2010, engineering research institute Nanning base program has developed so quickly since Sep in 2010, and it has marched to the target in accordance with the plan.

Yuchai engineering research institute Nanning base is taken overall 121 square meters, and the planned overall investment is 31 million Euros. The establishment contents include research building, unified trial production workshop, hybrid power workshop, and engine trial workshop, as well as trial workshops for completely vehicles and parts and components, etc.

The main building of the base is planned to be completed at the end of 2010 in accordance with the plan. Equipment installation and adjustment and exterior and interior decorations are to be conducted in 2011, which are planned to be put into production at the second half of 2011. 

As the important R＆D system base, it will be mainly responsible for R＆D of Yuchai new engine, development of completely vehicle and the accessories, and test of engine and main parts. It also responsible for structure analysis test research, reliability of the engine and development of hybrid power engine as well as production of critical parts and components.
