Weichai to establish two production bases

(chinatrucks.com, Dec 8, 2010) Recently, Weichai announces that Weichai is to establish two engine production and manufacturer bases in next five to ten years. The two bases include the high-tech industrious park mainly manufacturing 4-15 liters high speed diesel engine, and the manufacturer base mainly producing medium speed diesel engines. The large power engine in 2015 will realize the sales target of 1,500,000, and in 2020 will realize the sales target of truck accessory engine with 1400,000. The sales target of engineering machinery is 680,000, and the overall sales revenue is to surpass 10 billion Euros. 

It is introduced by Weichai that Weichai will develop a series of core technologies, mainly electrical control and electricity drive technology, to establish the core technology platform mainly hybrid drive, and new generation commercial vehicle, as well as engineering machinery power assembly technology platform. It will make great efforts to make the fuel save more than 30%, and emission articles will reduce over 30%, and the manufacturer cost will reduce 30%.
