Beiqi Foton Invests Commercial Vehicle Brand in India
www.chinatrucks.com: Investment intention signing ceremony by Beiqi Foton was held in Bombay on April 29, 2011, and Foton became the first China commercial vehicle producer to invest in India. In the future India base will Foton export base for Africa and Middle East. Beiqi Foton will invest no less than 2.46 billion Yuan for fixed assets and equipments.
The plant in India will produce heavy-duty and light trucks and spare parts will be purchased locally.
Foton has started to recruit talents for India branch, and 90% of them will be local Indians.
