Beiqi Foton to build auto plant in Russia
www.chinatrucks.com: Currently Beiqi Foton is considering to build cargo van plant in Nizhny Novgorod, a satellite city of Dzerzhinsk, Russia.

Heavy-duty cargo vans plant and then light cargo van plant will be built, and about 12,000 work places will be added.
More than five million vehicles were produced by Beiqi Foton and the auto have been sold to more than eighty countries and regions.
Foton proposed to transfer from a manufacturer to production service provider in their "2020 Strategy". Foton started to build their plant in India, the first China commercial vehicle manufacturer to set plant in overseas markets. And they will further build plants in Russia, Brazil, Mexico and Indonesia gradually, and their production output will surpass 100,000 units, and the plants are to be finished till 2015.
