90% On-sale Commercial Vehicles Cannot Meet National 4 Emission Standard
www.chinatrucks.com: Natioanl Environment Ministry decleared Reply for China Vehicle National 4 Emission Standard to rule the exact date to carry out national 4 standards for different vehicles.
Spark ignition engines and related vehicles failing meeting national 4 emission standard cannot be sold and registerred since Jan. 1, 2011. And the final date for compression ignition engine will be Jan. 1, 2012.
However, 90% of commercial vehicles on sales cannot meet national 4 emission standard due to technical problems. So sales of commercial vehicles may decrease dramatically if national 4 standard carried out strictly after July 1.
