Yuchai YC6MK Engine Listed among “2012 Commercial Vehicle Engines”

 www.chinatrucks.com: Recently, the results of Kunlun Lubricant “China Heart” 2012 Ten Best Engines have been unveiled. Yuchai’s YC6MK375040 (10.338L) diesel engine was listed among “‘China Heart’ 2012 Commercial Vehicle Engines”. This is the second time that Yuchai’s independently developed engine has won the honor after YC6L-40 (8.4L) diesel engine in 2011.

YC6MK375-40 is an internationally advanced and independently developed energy-conserving, environment-friendly and safe commercial vehicle diesel engine. The model is Yuchai’s brand-new 10L heavy-duty diesel engine and key heavy-duty engine upgraded on the basis of YC6M engine and innovatively developed according to YCEDP engine development process.

Reputed as the “Oscar” in China’s automotive engine industry, “‘China Heart’ 2012 Commercial Vehicle Engines” is one of the most authoritative professional selections and only engine selection in China’s auto industry. The annual “ten best engines” became the model evaluation benchmarks to which domestic automakers and consumers paid closest attention. This year’s selection drew special attention from the industry and the media. A total of 30 automakers and engine makers fielded 36 outstanding engines for the selection.
