SAIC–IVECO Hongyan Export 1,850 Heavy Trucks in 2012

www.chinatrucks.com: As we know, the heavy truck’s market share in 2012 decreased, SAIC–IVECO Hongyan Commercial Vehicle Co., LTD. was also influenced. But in the overseas market, SAIC–IVECO Hongyan has done a good job. In 2012, SAIC–IVECO Hongyan sold 1,850 heavy trucks in 2012, up 551 percent of the year-on-year growth.

In 2012, the export way of SAIC–IVECO Hongyan transformed from one way to mutil-ways. In 2013, SAIC–IVECO Hongyan plans to export 13,000 heavy trucks. SAIC–IVECO Hongyan has signed a supply agreement on 2,000 units of heavy trucks to Algeria. According to the agreement, SAIC–IVECO Hongyan will use its dealers’ service network in North Africa to serve the 2,000 heavy trucks in Algeria. The agreement will be completed in 2013.

SAIC–IVECO Hongyan sold 17,000 heavy trucks in 2012, down 46.01 percent of the year-on-year growth comparing the 31,500 units in 2011. But NAVECO sold 132,013 units of vehicles in 2012; with the year-on-year growth was 15.98 percent comparing to the 113,827 units in 2011.

In 2013, SAIC–IVECO Hongyan plans to sell 30,000 vehicles, which increases by 70 percent comparing to the 17,000 sales volumes in 2012. The target sale is doubted by many people.
