The Sales Data of the Top Fourteen Pickup Builders in Jan.- March 2013
www.chinatrucks.com: In Jan.- March 2013, the top fourteen mainstream and non-mainstream pick-up builders totally sold 116,722 units, up 4.97 percent over Jan.- March 2013. The top five ones were Great Wall Auto (31,426 units), JMC (19,368 units), ZXAUTO (15,210 units), Zhengzhou Nissan (13,993 units) and Beiqi Foton Motor (10,114 units).
The top five accounted for almost over 80 percent of China pickup market. And now there are over twenty pickup makers join the fierce competition for the over 400,000 units of pickups.
For the pick-up export in Jan.- March. 2013, JMC exported 804 units, up 90.52 percent over the same period in 2012. Foton exported total of 914 units, down 13.77 percent over Jan. – March 2013. Great Wall totally exported 6,785 units, down 24.30 percent of year-on-year growth.
