Auman GTL Wins Another Champion at China International Truck Fuel Saving Competition
www.chinatrucks.com: On October 23, 2013, the Sixth China International Truck Fuel Saving Competition awarding ceremony is held in Beijing. After strict test, Auman GTL wins the champion, the fifth one in a row at this competition. Auman GTL consumes only 28.11L per hundred miles.

Auman GTL wins the competition again due to leading technology
Since establishment, Foton Daimler has been working towards producing "trucks complying with European standard". It is introducing and digesting European leading fuel saving technology in the hope of providing products with high reliability and longer service time but lower fuel consumption. Through this competition, Auman GTL once again interprets the value of its "European standard".
At the competition, Auman GTL is second to none in terms of fuel saving. It saves fuel in almost all respects like powertrain, arrangement of complete vehicle, resistance reducing and light weighted design. At the same time, the use of electrical high-pressure fuel system, EBP fuel-saving switch, electrical silicone fan and low-resistance exhaust system makes itself more excellent in saving fuel.

Saving costs for customers
With European leading fuel saving technology, Foton Daimler trucks can reach the best fuel economy in situations of empty loaded, full loaded and even heavy loaded while maintaining the power. 3-5L fuel can be saved per hundred miles.
Fuel saving is a systematic project. Foton Daimler conducts a training for drivers regarding fuel saving skill to guide users improve bad driving habits and master fuel saving technique, brining direct economic benefits to users. Foton Daimler technician introduces some skills, saying "many drivers used to press the accelerator clutch to the bottom and maximize rotate speed. By doing so, the engine sounds to be very strong. As a matter of fact, it decreases the grade ability and double fuel consumption. If the speed and engine rotated speed are under an appropriate control, the fuel consumption is the best while ensuring the power is the strongest."

Moreover, Foton Daimler has always put users' interest into first place no matter in pre or after-sales service. Before purchasing a truck, Foton Daimler sales person will help users to choose a right product based on different industries, road conditions and other demands.
Fuel saving of heavy trucks will never stop. Foton Daimler will introduce more "European standard" technology into its products and constantly improve fuel saving technology in order help users reduce costs and bring more business value.
