FOTON Auman Trucks Take Top Spots at Mexico’s Súper Copa
Foton Motor’s Auman trucks secured first and third place in the truck category at the fourth edition of Mexico’s Súper Copa, marking a notable achievement for the Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer in a major international motorsport event.

Drivers Santiago Tovar and Michel Jourdain piloted the Auman trucks to podium finishes, highlighting the vehicle's strong performance in terms of acceleration, handling, and power delivery under competitive conditions.

Established in 2014, the Súper Copa has become one of Mexico’s leading motorsport competitions, featuring categories including trucks, GTM race cars, Formula cars, and motorcycles. Foton supported the truck racing category by providing race vehicles, drivers, and on-site support.

Foton’s participation in international sports events is part of its broader strategy to strengthen global brand presence. The company has also been involved in various events worldwide. In Peru, its pickup trucks won the truck category in the TRACUSA rally; in Ecuador, Foton vehicles supported the Petzl Trail Plus race; in Côte d'Ivoire, a Foton mobile broadcasting vehicle assisted with live coverage of the Africa Cup of Nations; and in the Philippines, the company sponsored the NANAY Cup golf tournament.

Foton said it aims to continue its support for international sporting events as a means to enhance local partnerships and expand its global footprint in commercial vehicle markets.
