Weichi WP7 Engine
Weichai is always optimizing its internal industrial structure, including building green products and developing green manufacturing for energy conservation and remission reduction. Like what Tan Xuguang, President of Weichai Group, said, internal combustion industry is the key part of energy conservation and remission reduction. This passed Euro VI certification is an important achievement of Weichai cultivating energy saving field for all these years.
Certification of Euro VI is quite severe. After submission of certification application, certification officer was sent to Weichai by Ministry of Transportation of U.K and checked Euro VI authentication of WP7 engine on the spot. This check is divided into two parts, witness and plant approval check. Euro VI is the most Euro remission regulation, increasing content of CO2, NH3 and particle, DPF regeneration and nitrogen oxygen control test, WHTC, WHSC and NTE cycle and more severe OBD test. Through scientific and severe checks, Weichai Group successfully became the first enterprise passing Euro VI remission and OBD certification in China.
