Weichai Generates Revenue of 36.455 Billion RMB in First Half of 2015

www.chinatrucks.com: August, 28, 2015, Weichai announced 2015 semi-annual report that by June 30, the company achieved revenue of 36.455 billion yuan, representing year-on-year growth of 6.87%; Profit of the first half year reaches 969 million yuan, down by 74.3% on the same period of last year.

According to Weichai, sales of heavy trucks in domestic market see a sharp slide due to the slowdown of macroeconomic growth, investment growth rate of fixed asset decline, downturn manufacturing industry development, etc. Sales of Weichai heavy truck engines, heavy trucks, and transmissions also face decline. However, in the second half of the year, the decline rate of the heavy truck market is expected to narrow. Some subdivision  will face a new round of reshuffle, Weichai has carried out preparatory work to seize the initiative in the new round of competition.
