0.1 Micrometer Makes All the Difference of Maxxforce Engines
www.chinatrucks.com: At JAC Navistar Engine Manufacturing Center, a Maxxforce engine always has to go through twenty different screening tests before it is delivered to its customer.
Equipped with state-of-art manufacturing equipment and testing equipment, such as HECKERT CNC machines and NAGEL honing machines from Germany, JAC Navistar Engine Manufacturing Center has well integrated engine processing and assembly with testing. It boasts a processing accuracy of one micrometer. Moreover, before going through the next production procedure, Maxxforce products have to pass the test of MARPOSS Intelligent Testing Station with an accuracy reaching 0.1 micrometer from Italy. Thus, any problems of a Maxxforce engine can be detected in advance.

In addition, JAC Navistar Engine Manufacturing Center has reached high levels of automation, numerical standards and flexibility. Boasting six CNC machine processing lines, automatic assembly lines and automatic painting lines with an accuracy of one micrometer and an on-line detecting accuracy of 0.1 micrometer, the center is capable of producing Maxxforce 3.2L and 4.8L diesel engines. Soon, the center will be able to produce Maxxforce 7.2L diesel engines.
