JAC Light-duty Truck KD Plant Firstly Sets in Africa
www.chinatrucks.com: The signing ceremony of JAC light-duty truck KD plant in Algeria was held in its capital Algiers recently. Xiang Xingchu, the General Manager of JAC Motors, attended the ceremony. Some important government officials including Chinese ambassador to Algeria Yang Guangyu, Investment Director Amar Agadir of Algeria Industrial & Mining Departmentand the Governor Ahmed Hamoutouhami of Ain Temouchen State, etc. were invited to attend the ceremony. Over 30 local main media witnessed the great historic moment which was a milestone in Algeria.
JAC Motors has built 18 KD plants covering Middle East, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and South America, etc. till now. The completion of JAC light-duty truck KD plant in Algeria made the number of JAC Motors’ overseas plants reach 19. Meanwhile, it also became the first light-duty truck KD plant of JAC Motors in Africa.
The estimated production capacity of JAC light-duty truck KD plant in Algeria is 10,000 sets per year in the first period. The plant will assemble the JAC new generation, safer and more fuel-saving light-duty truck and mini-truck which meets new laws and regulations of Algeria.
Amar Agadir, the Investment Director of Algeria Industrial & Mining Departmentsaid that, the new bill about vehicle market published by Algerian government actively encourages the vehicle plant building coordinated by vehicle manufacturers and local dealers. Algeria Industrial & Mining Department and Ain Temouchen State will provide preferential policies and support to programs of JAC light-duty truck KD plant. Yang Guangyu, the Chinese ambassador to Algeria, gave high affirmation to the achievements made by JAC light-duty truck in local truck market and positive support to the JAC Motors’ contribution to the common development of Chinese and Algerian economy.
Xiang Xingchu, the General Manager of JAC Motors, said in the speech that, JAC Motors has always been adhering to the Customer-oriented Principle; respects, understands and supports the new bill about vehicle market published by Algerian government, further deepens the coordination and promotes the programs of JAC light-duty truck KD plant in Algeria to manufacture more trucks meeting the new bill and local customers’ demand as well as provide better services.
