XCMG Set to Further Promote its Presence in Europe
On April 23, a press conference was held in Paris to promote the presence of XCMG in Europe.
Yang Dongsheng, Deputy Secretary of XCMG CPC Committee, delivered a keynote speech at the press conference. He pointed out that XCMG, as one of the pioneers in China’s engineering machinery industry, has been ranking the first place in China’s engineering machinery industry for 29 years. In the newly released ranking compiled by UK-based KHL, XCMG successfully beat two rivals and moved up to the sixth place in the world.

Attaching paramount importance to its overseas expansion, XCMG has been rolling out a number of solutions for its customers in Europe. In addition, it has set up XCMG Europe (Germany) R&D Center in Dusseldorf. By taking full advantages of the large pool of talents in Europe, XCMG aims to further boost its overall competitiveness in the global market.
In 2017, XCMG saw its sales go up by 51% in Central Asia. Its sales soared by 119% in Africa and 107% in West Asia and North Africa. In Asia-Pacific region, its sales jumped by 80%.
Currently, XCMG ranks the first place among all its counterparts in China in terms of the export volume in over 30 countries across the world. In Kazakhstan, Philippines, Pakistan and Uzbekistan, over 50% of these countries’ imports of engineering machinery are made by XCMG. In Central Asia, Africa, Middle East and Southeast Asia, XCMG has already exceeded Caterpillar, one of the leading players in the engineering machinery industry in the world.
