Weichai WP10.5H Engine Sales Jump 237% in First Two Months of 2020
As China has basically brought the COVID-19 under control, most of the companies have resumed full production amid strict prevention and control measures. Since restarting production, the demand for WP10.5H engine has witnessed a large increase.
Recently, heavy-duty trucks powered by WP10.5H engines have been delivered one after another to customers from Hebei, Anhui, Shandong, and Henan province to boost local economy recovery.
WP10.5H, specifically designed for heavy-duty trucks, is a new generation of high-end engine that features small size, light weight, high power density and strong power.
In order to improve the fuel efficiency, Weichai has applied international advanced combustion and efficient supercharged technologies to WP10.5H. It has been proved by customers that WP10.5 is capable of delivering high power and fuel economy.
As a high end engine for heavy-duty truck applications, WP10.5H has been built on Weichai H platform. Since hitting the market in 2019, its sales have increased by 237% year-on-year in the first two months of 2020.
