Weichai’s New Mining Truck Goes Off the Assmbly Lines in Yangzhou

On May 20, Weichai (Yangzhou) Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Weichai) officially rolled out its newly developed 2020 mining truck. According to the company, it has already received a combined order of over 1,000 units such trucks so far.

In the past, China largely relied on the overseas manufacturers for mining trucks. To change the situation, Weichai, a leading player in China’s special vehicle industry, has made technological breakthroughs in 187 areas and successfully developed its 2020 mining truck, which has a loading capacity of 90 tons or 145 tons.

Equipped with a state-of-art driveline, a hydraulic steering system, a VOSS steering system, a brand new electronically controlled AC system, a brand new electric system, a newly developed driver’s cockpit and container, flexible vehicle frames, oscillating front axles, etc., the truck achieves high maneuverability, high efficiency, a higher loading capacity and provides more comforts for truck drivers.

Apart from mining trucks, Weichai has also successfully developed water-spraying vehicles for mining purposes and other vehicles for special purposes.
