Weichai Rolls Out Its 200,000th Unit Engine with National VI Emission Standards
On November 30, Weichai held online and offline ceremonies in Weifang and Xi’an to mark the official rollout of its 200,000th unit engine with National VI Emission Standards. Weichai’s business partners and employees witnessed the historical moment.
As one of the pioneers in successfully developing diesel engines with National VI Emission Standards, Weichai is actively involved in promoting the stricter emission standards and helping cities reduce carbon emissions.
At the end of 2018, Weichai WP4.6N diesel engine obtained National VI Emission Standards b certificate. Since then, it has launched a series of engines with National VI Emission Standards.
The assembly of the 200,000th unit Weichai engine with National VI Emission Standards fully demonstrates the engine maker’s full commitment to environmental protection. As the National VI Emission Standards will be fully implemented in 2021, Weichai is set to substantially increasing the sales of its highly reliable, highly intelligent and highly energy efficient engines.
