Chinaman of Weichai Group Met with Italian Ambassador to China
In response to an invitation by Italian Ambassador Ambrose, Tan Xuguang, Chairman of Weichai Group, held an exchange meeting with Mr. Ambassador on August 25 at the Italian Embassy in Beijing.
Since their partnership began in 2012, Weichai has helped Faraday Group come out of the crisis, made it re-emerge as a jewel in the crown of the yachting world, and list on both the Hong Kong and Milan stock exchanges, Tan Xuguang said.
Ambrose said that the strategic cooperation between Weichai and Faraday Group is a classic example of bilateral cooperation. Mr. Tan Xuguang received the award "Leonardo International Prize" from the President of Italy in 2019. Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Italy and the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's death. We very much welcome forward-thinking enterprises from China to invest in Italy. Shandong is to be a top spot for collaboration and Weichai particularly to be a privileged partner and our role model.
