Windrose E Truck Completes a 4,500 km Cross-country Road Test across the US.
In June 2024, Windrose Technologies' Windrose pure electric heavy-duty truck successfully completed a one-way journey of 2,800 miles (4,500 kilometers) across the United States, from New York on the East Coast to Los Angeles on the West Coast. This achievement sets a new industry record for the single-trip driving distance of new energy heavy-duty trucks, surpassing its own previous record set in May 2024 for crossing Europe at 3,100 kilometers.
During this U.S. road test, Windrose Technologies covered nearly 10,000 kilometers across 16 states, adding to its cumulative overseas road test mileage of nearly 20,000 kilometers including previous tests in Europe.

These global tests have validated the core parameters of Windrose Technologies' 670-kilometer long-range heavy-duty truck, featuring a 729 kWh battery, 800V high-voltage fast charging platform, and 1,040 kW peak power.

The 670-kilometer long-range heavy-duty truck by Windrose Technologies is planned for market introduction starting from 2024 in regions including China, the United States, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Currently, Weidu Technologies has established partnerships with Rokin Logistics, Kerry Logistics, Goodman Group, TUV SUD Nande, and Etrucks® in New Zealand.
