XCMG Unveils New Hydrogen Fuel Cell Heavy Truck with Over 800km Range
As the drive for clean energy accelerates, the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle market in China is experiencing dynamic growth. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles have emerged as a significant trend. Pioneering the field of new energy commercial vehicles, XCMG has launched the XCMG XG2 520S—a long-range hydrogen fuel cell truck designed to accelerate the shift towards green and low-carbon development.
The XCMG XG2 EX520S uses hydrogen as fuel and has a powerful fuel cell system. It focuses on zero emissions, high efficiency, safety, intelligence, and environmental friendliness. It features advanced control technology for the entire vehicle, optimized fuel cell system, and energy management to maximize economic benefits. The truck has 8 large hydrogen tanks, each 385 liters, and can travel over 800 kilometers on hydrogen, offering users a more convenient and efficient transport experience.
The XG2 EX520S also improves in safety, intelligence, and comfort. The fuel cell system works in temperatures as low as -30°C, handling various climate conditions. The cab has a high-end flat floor, cage structure, and energy-absorbing technology, and is equipped with an advanced smart control system for real-time monitoring and remote management, ensuring driver safety and comfort.

As a leader in new energy commercial vehicles, XCMG is committed to the "dual carbon" goals and invests heavily in hydrogen technology. They have developed a range of hydrogen fuel vehicles, including trucks, dump trucks, and mixers, covering key applications like road logistics, mining, municipal sanitation, and construction. This year, XCMG has put over 100 hydrogen fuel commercial vehicles on the market, with good performance and growing reputation.
In the pursuit of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality" goals, XCMG is expanding its product lineup, advancing its R&D capabilities, and delivering competitive solutions. By staying at the cutting edge of the commercial vehicle industry, XCMG is making significant contributions to global energy savings, emissions reduction, and the green transformation.
