JAC Unveils Its First Electric Inclusive Experience Vehicle in Hong Kong
Recently, JAC launched its 5.5-ton pure electric light truck as Hong Kong’s first inclusive experience vehicle at the Tai Po Baptist Public School. This unveiling is part of the "ZebraGo Project," a child welfare initiative led by Tai Po Baptist Church Social Service, one of Hong Kong’s major social welfare organizations.
The event was attended by nearly 100 distinguished guests, including Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government officials, Legislative Council members, educators, social welfare advocates, church representatives, and sponsors.
The JAC electric light truck is designed to offer virtual reality experiences and personalized sensory and language training for students. It aims to provide an inclusive experience for primary schools in Hong Kong, especially those in remote areas with special educational needs.

JAC worked closely with Hong Kong partners to ensure the vehicle met the project's needs for eco-friendliness, comfort, and quiet operation. After extensive evaluations, JAC was selected for this initiative due to its advanced technology and commitment to green solutions.
Officials and educators praised the vehicle for its zero-carbon, zero-pollution benefits, aligning with the SAR government's green advocacy and supporting students' well-being.
Looking ahead, JAC plans to expand its range of pure electric commercial vehicles in Hong Kong. With over a decade in the global automotive market, JAC continues to lead with a diverse lineup, including Euro VI fuel light trucks, electric pickup trucks, and electric light trucks, and holds a 70% market share in electric light trucks.
