IAA 2024: JAC Motors Unveils Its European Strategy
On September 16, 2024, the world's largest commercial vehicle exhibition, IAA Transportation, took place at the Hannover International Exhibition Center in Germany. JAC Motors showcased several new energy commercial vehicles and cutting-edge technologies, highlighting the strength and potential of China's automotive industry, attracting significant attention from the industry.
During the media day, JAC Motors announced its European strategy with the goal of “For Greener Cities, NOW.” The company plans to implement localized operations by integrating resources across energy supply, financial services, logistics, and other sectors, aiming to set a new standard for green logistics and contribute to energy savings and emissions reduction in Europe.
Yuyang, General Manager of JAC Motors’ International Division, shared the company’s plans for the European market and introduced three new energy commercial vehicles: the pure electric light trucks N42 EV and N75 EV, along with the pure electric pickup T9 EV. These vehicles cover a range of transportation needs, from commercial to personal use, demonstrating JAC’s versatility and adaptability in the new energy vehicle sector.
The N42 EV features a 77.28 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery from CATL, providing a range of over 220 kilometers when fully loaded, and includes L2-level intelligent driving capabilities for safety and comfort. The N75 EV also showcases JAC's solid expertise in the new energy vehicle field.

The T9 EV, which debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10, is the first Chinese pure electric four-wheel-drive pickup unveiled in Europe. It is equipped with the latest 88.02 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a range of over 340 kilometers.
The IAA Transportation is a key platform for the global commercial vehicle industry. JAC Motors' participation not only demonstrates its technological strengths in new energy and smart connectivity but also enhances the international recognition of “Made in China.”
