XCMG 4.4m E-truck Nominated for the 10th "Discovery of Trust" Innovation Award
XCMG has recently launched the world's first 4.4-meter green plate electric light truck, which has quickly become the center of attention in the market. This truck, with its oversized cargo box, has surpassed industry standards and gained widespread recognition. It has also been nominated for the "Innovation in Urban Logistics Equipment" award at the 10th "Discovery & Trust" Innovation Award, organized by China Truck Network.

As the new energy light truck market rapidly grows, driven by low costs, wide road rights, and policy support, it has become a core driver of growth in the light truck industry. In the first ten months of 2024, the market penetration of new energy light trucks exceeded 20%, with pure electric light trucks holding nearly 90% of the market share, making them the hottest segment in the industry.

In order to capture market share, major manufacturers have been continuously launching innovative products. XCMG, having focused on the light truck sector for three years, has developed a new generation of pure electric light trucks that address users' needs. The latest model features a 4.4-meter extra-large cargo box, a first in the industry. This new design not only increases cargo space but also significantly improves loading capacity, making it ideal for applications like supermarket deliveries, greatly enhancing transportation efficiency.

The "Discovery & Trust" Innovation Award, which began in August, focuses on new technologies and products that drive the transformation of the truck industry towards smarter, more energy-efficient, and high-performance solutions. XCMG's pioneering 4.4-meter green plate electric light truck has been recognized for its innovative strength, showcasing the potential of Chinese light truck manufacturers to set new standards.
In terms of design, XCMG has extended the cargo box length without compromising the spaciousness of the cabin. The truck features advanced seat designs, a sleeper function, and a high-roof, flat-floor cabin, improving comfort for drivers. Additionally, the truck is equipped with a high-performance battery and XCMG's self-developed energy management system. It also features 2C fast-charging technology, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes, eliminating concerns about range and charging time.

XCMG's new generation of electric light trucks has received high praise from users for its aesthetics, large loading capacity, stability, fast charging, long range, safety, and value for money. The results of the 10th "Discovery & Trust" Innovation Award will be announced at the award ceremony on January 8, 2025, in Zhengzhou, where it will be revealed whether XCMG will win the "Innovation in Urban Logistics Equipment" award.
