JAC T9 PHEV Makes Global Debut at 2025 Melbourne Auto Show
From April 4 to 6, JAC Motors took part in the 2025 Melbourne Auto Show in Australia. This international event brought together major car brands and auto fans from around the world. JAC showcased several new models, highlighting its progress in new energy and smart mobility.
The biggest highlight was the global debut of the JAC T9 PHEV, a plug-in hybrid 4WD double-cab pickup truck. This model is part of JAC’s global expansion and comes with a 2.0T gasoline engine and front and rear electric motors. It delivers a total power of 385 kW and a peak torque of 1000 Nm. The T9 PHEV can drive over 100 km on electric power alone, offering strong performance and lower emissions for both city and off-road use.
JAC also introduced the DEFINE electric concept car for the first time outside China. This award-winning car (2024 Red Dot Design Award) features futuristic design, a smart interior, and advanced electric technology. It shows JAC’s vision for the future of electric and intelligent vehicles.
Mr. Ahmed, CEO of JAC’s Australian partner, said:
“The Melbourne Auto Show is an important step in JAC’s global strategy. We want more people to see what JAC is doing in the fields of new energy and smart manufacturing. We will continue to grow globally and bring smarter, greener vehicles to our customers around the world.”
