25 LANDKING Hybrid Light Trucks Safeguard the SCO Summit
At the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, 25 WEICHAI LANDKING hybrid light trucks were deployed to deliver food supplies. With strong power, long driving range, and low emissions, they ensured efficient, eco-friendly logistics, making green logistics a highlight of the summit.
This achievement highlights WEICHAI LANDKING’s focus on building dependable vehicles. From core component development to rigorous testing, the brand emphasizes reliability at every stage. Building on this foundation, the LANDKING EH and LANDKING X7 Hybrid light trucks are designed to tackle long-haul challenges and drive the green upgrade of the logistics industry—from city deliveries to long-haul transport—with extended range, strong performance, and high load capacity.
The LANDKING EH hybrid light truck stands out when it comes to navigating busy urban delivery routes. Its advanced hybrid system allows the engine and motor to work seamlessly together. Equipped with a WEICHAI WP2.5N engine, FAST transmission, and CATL battery, the truck delivers smooth, consistent power even in stop-and-go traffic, ensuring timely deliveries.
The EH hybrid light truck combines a 120L fuel tank with a 15.45 kWh CATL battery, giving it a range of over 1,000 km. It offers three driving modes—electric, fuel, and hybrid—that can be switched depending on road conditions. This setup addresses the limited range of pure electric trucks and avoids road access restrictions for conventional fuel vehicles, while reducing energy consumption and boosting efficiency.
The EH hybrid light truck’s design and features further enhance reliability. It is built on a 180/800 straight-through beam frame, paired with a 3-ton HANDE wide-track front axle, a 6-ton HANDE maintenance-free wide-track rear axle, and a 3/8+6 suspension system. This setup ensures outstanding stability and load-bearing capacity even when carrying heavy load or driving on wet roads. Vacuum tires provide strong grip and long-lasting durability, reducing replacement frequency and operating costs.
For driver’s comfort, the LANDKING EH hybrid light truck comes with electric air conditioning, a multifunction steering wheel, and power windows. The high-roof cab can also be fitted with a sleeper bed, providing a comfortable space for long trips and helping drivers stay focused and rested.

The upcoming LANDKING X7 hybrid light truck, launching later this year, is highly anticipated. It features a 75 kWh Findream battery for extended electric range, paired with a 180-hp WEICHAI engine, FAST transmission, and wide-axle rear suspension. The optimized powertrain ensures stronger and more efficient performance. Its wide-body cab offers more space and convenience, while passenger-style features like a multifunction steering wheel and electric air conditioning enhance driver comfort.

Currently, the LANDKING EH hybrid light truck is already playing a key role in green logistics, and the upgraded X7 hybrid light truck will soon join the lineup. Looking ahead, WEICHAI LANDKING will continue investing in technology, advancing its hybrid systems, and delivering more efficient, eco-friendly, and intelligent vehicles to support sustainable transportation and a greener future.
