WEICHAI NECV Launches LANDKING X7 Light Truck in Fujian, China
On September 15, WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicle officially launched the LANDKING X7, its latest premium light truck, in Fujian, China. The model targets the growing need for cleaner, more efficient logistics in China.

Designed for Fujian’s hilly terrain and demanding roads, the LANDKING X7 delivers strong power, long range, and high load capacity.Available in electric, fuel, and hybrid versions, the truck offers customers flexible choiceswhile ensuring reliable, efficient, and comfortable operation through advanced technology.
According to Yu Lang, General Manager of WEICHAI NECV, the LANDKING X7 electric model blends sleek styling, extended driving range, heavy-duty load capability, safety, comfort, and smart features—setting a new benchmark for light trucks in China.
The LANDKING X7 electric model offers multiple battery options (140–200 kWh) and supports 2C fast charging. It is built on WEICHAI’s ‘Stellar Super Electric Power Platform,’ enhanced through collaboration with top global partners including INOVANCE, Bosch, and HanDe Axle. A lifetime battery warranty for the first owner helps cut long-term maintenance and operating costs.
In pre-launch testing, the truck completed a full-load run from Fuzhou to Quanzhou, China, covering 508 km under demanding conditions—including highway driving at an average speed of 90 km/h with the air conditioning on. Under typical mixed driving conditions, the truck can cover up to 560 km on a single charge, and under ideal conditions, its range can extend to 600 km, demonstrating both reliability and long-distance capability for real-world logistics operations.
Yu Lang also personally tested the truck on highways, steep slopes, and urban roads. The tests showed it can deliver up to 500 N·m of torque, maintain steady load performance, and offer smooth handling—making it well-suited for a wide range of logistics operations.
The LANDKING X7 also prioritizes driver comfort. Highlights include a spacious 2120 mm-wide cabin, user-friendly column shifter, L2+ driver assistance, a 360-degree camera system, and a sleeper bed with a “sleep mode” for better rest. Together, these features enhance safety, convenience, and comfort in everyday use.
With WEICHAI’s nationwide service network and the lifetime battery warranty, customers can benefit from reliable support—whether for city deliveries or long-haul logistics.

At the launch event, several logistics companies signed purchase agreements for the LANDKING X7, underscoring strong market confidence in the new model. As Yu Lang noted, the LANDKING X7 marks a major step in WEICHAI NECV’s journey to become China’s leading light truck brand. The company will continue driving advances in efficiency, lower operating costs, and new energy technologies to support the logistics industry’s shift to a greener, smarter future.
