Dongfeng Launches Three New Trucks in Malaysia, Secures 200-Unit Order
Dongfeng Import & Export Corporation has introduced three new commercial vehicle models tailored for the Malaysian market and secured an order for 200 units, reinforcing its commitment to localized operations in Southeast Asia.
The launch event, held in Kuala Lumpur, attracted more than 200 representatives from the logistics, construction, ready-mix concrete and trading industries. During the event, Dongfeng unveiled the D320 tractor truck, the D310 construction truck and a new concrete mixer truck.
Developed specifically for Malaysia, the new models are the result of extensive market research and product adaptation based on local operating conditions and customer requirements. The vehicles are designed to serve a variety of applications, including freight transportation, construction projects and specialized commercial operations.
The launch was attended by Wang Long, Chairman of Dongfeng Import & Export Corporation, and Duan Renmin, General Manager of Dongfeng Motor Corporation. The two executives witnessed the signing of agreements with the first group of end users, while Dongfeng also finalized a 200-unit commercial vehicle order with a Malaysian partner.

The introduction of the new models reflects Dongfeng's broader strategy to expand its localized presence in Malaysia, one of the company's key markets in Southeast Asia. In recent years, the company has worked closely with local partners to strengthen vehicle assembly capabilities and improve its sales and service infrastructure.
Dongfeng plans to continue investing in its Malaysian operations by expanding its sales network, enhancing after-sales support and improving spare parts availability. The company also aims to strengthen technical training and talent development programs to better support customers and business partners.

With the new product launch and latest order secured, Dongfeng is positioning itself for further growth in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia. The company said it will continue to focus on delivering market-oriented products, reliable performance and comprehensive customer support as it expands its international commercial vehicle business.
