WEICHAI LANDKING Showcases EV Lineup at SDHI Global Partners Conference
WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicle((hereinafter referred to as “WEICHAI LANDKING”) showcased its new energy logistics vehicles and solutions at the Shandong Heavy Industry Group Global Partners Conference and Green Intelligent Products Exhibition in Hanoi, Vietnam, on July 21-22, 2026. The event was Shandong Heavy Industry Group’s first large-scale overseas exhibition focused on green and intelligent equipment, attracting more than 1,500 partners from over 60 countries and regions to discuss green logistics and global cooperation. WEICHAI LANDKING presented a range of electric logistics vehicles and supporting solutions for different applications, together with other companies across the group’s industrial chain to demonstrate green logistics capabilities.
Leveraging Shandong Heavy Industry Group’s resources in R&D, power systems, components, manufacturing and global services, WEICHAI LANDKING has accelerated the development of new energy products. Based on the group’s global R&D system and Tokyo Innovation Center, the company has developed a dedicated new energy vehicle platform equipped with the “Golden Electric Power System,” integrating WEICHAI FinDreams Blade Battery, HANDE electric drive axle and WEICHAI’s self-developed electronic control system. The integrated development of the “three key electric systems” improves vehicle reliability and operational efficiency. Since the launch of the LANDKING brand in 2023, the company has expanded its global presence, with overseas sales up 88% year on year and new energy vehicle sales increasing by more than 530% in 2025.

Under the theme of “Tech Empowered Future Equipped” WEICHAI LANDKING showcased new energy commercial vehicles for urban delivery, retail logistics, cold chain transportation and regional logistics. For Southeast Asia’s right-hand-drive markets, the company has developed a product lineup from mini trucks to buses and vans, with optimizations in thermal management, electric system protection and corrosion resistance for local conditions. The vehicles have passed extreme-condition tests and accumulated more than 100,000 kilometers of testing and real-world operational verification in multiple countries.

Beyond vehicles, WEICHAI LANDKING also showcased vehicle body solutions, charging facilities and a “solar-storage-charging-swapping” energy solution. By integrating solar power, energy storage, fast charging and battery swapping, the company provides customers with complete vehicle and energy solutions to address charging challenges in overseas markets.

WEICHAI LANDKING has expanded its overseas business into multiple regions, with volume sales achieved in Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and the CIS. With growing demand for urban delivery, e-commerce logistics and green transportation, Southeast Asia has become a key market for new energy commercial vehicles. The company will use Vietnam as a hub to expand its presence across the Asia-Pacific region and build a localized sales, production and service network over the next 2-3 years.

WEICHAI LANDKING will provide partners with support in sales, service, training, spare parts and financing to accelerate the adoption of new energy logistics solutions in local markets. The company will continue leveraging the Group’s industrial chain advantages, expanding its global presence and strengthening its product portfolio and localized services with partners worldwide.
