JAC Delivers 20 EV9 Electric Light Trucks for Green Urban Logistics
JAC Commercial Vehicles has delivered 20 EV9 electric light trucks to a major leasing customer in Zhengzhou, China. The vehicles will be deployed in urban green logistics operations, supporting more efficient and sustainable delivery services. The delivery also marks the establishment of a long-term strategic partnership between JAC and the customer.

Before placing the order, the customer carried out a comprehensive evaluation based on five key factors: vehicle quality, driving range, operating costs, after-sales support, and residual value. After multiple rounds of qualification reviews, road tests, and operational comparisons, the JAC EV9 stood out for its balanced performance and overall operating advantages.
According to the customer’s purchasing manager, high vehicle availability, low maintenance costs, and long service life are essential for leasing companies in the urban delivery sector. After comparing several models, the JAC EV9 demonstrated clear advantages in lifecycle operation costs and fleet management efficiency, making it well suited for large-scale leasing operations.
Powered by a high-safety LFP battery and a high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motor, the JAC EV9 delivers smooth power output and stable driving range, even under full-load conditions. The vehicle is designed for frequent urban delivery scenarios, including supermarket distribution, fresh produce transport, and express delivery services.

The EV9 supports both AC and DC charging. Its fast-charging capability helps shorten charging time, reduce fleet downtime, and improve daily operating efficiency.
In terms of cargo capacity, the EV9 is compatible with a standard 4.2-meter cargo box, offering excellent space utilization for urban logistics applications. Its lightweight high-strength frame and reinforced suspension system provide a balance between energy efficiency and load-carrying capability, making it suitable for diverse delivery needs.
The EV9 also features comprehensive safety and intelligent technologies. Standard safety equipment includes ABS, tire pressure monitoring, a reversing camera, and reversing radar. The vehicle is equipped with a smart cockpit and connected fleet management system, enabling operators to remotely monitor vehicle status and driver behavior for improved fleet efficiency.
To enhance operational safety, the EV9 adopts multiple battery protection measures, including waterproof and impact-resistant designs, helping ensure reliable operation in different working environments.
For fleet operators, JAC provides extended warranties for key electric components, including the battery, motor, and electric control system, along with dedicated local service support and customized solutions for leasing customers. The vehicle also offers strong residual value and comprehensive trade-in and recycling services, helping reduce concerns over asset depreciation.
Moving forward, JAC Commercial Vehicles will continue to upgrade its new energy vehicle portfolio and strengthen lifecycle services, providing leasing companies and logistics operators with more reliable, cost-efficient, and sustainable urban transportation solutions.
