C&C TRUCKS to Unveil Global Integrated Transport Solution at IAA 2026

C&C TRUCKS, the heavy-truck brand of Chery Commercial Vehicle, will officially launch its Global Integrated Transport Solution at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 on September 14.

The company will also showcase two new energy heavy trucks developed for different real-world transport needs.

The solution is designed to address a key question for the new energy heavy-truck industry: How can electric trucks move from simply running on the road to efficient and large-scale operation?

Electric trucks move toward large-scale use

The global commercial vehicle industry is going through a major shift toward new energy and new technologies.

Europe is facing particularly strict emissions targets. Under the latest EU heavy-duty vehicle CO2 standards, new heavy trucks must cut emissions by 45% by 2030, 65% by 2035 and 90% by 2040, compared with 2019 levels.

As regulations become stricter, the focus is shifting from whether the industry should go electric to how electric trucks can be used effectively in daily operations.

For new energy heavy trucks, several factors are critical. Their range must meet real transport distances, charging or battery-swapping times must fit transport schedules, and vehicles must remain reliable in challenging conditions such as cold climates. Energy costs must also remain under control.

These factors will determine whether new energy heavy trucks can move beyond pilot projects and into large-scale commercial use.

IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, under the theme “WE DELIVER,” also highlights the need for practical solutions that can work in real-world operations and create real value.

Markets around the world have different charging infrastructure, transport conditions and operating requirements. Customers also need products that match their specific applications while keeping total operating costs under control.

As a result, customers are looking for more than a single truck or a single technology. They need complete solutions that combine technology, vehicle performance, infrastructure and long-term operating efficiency.

This is the starting point for C&C TRUCKS at IAA 2026.

Two trucks for different transport needs

Transport distances, road conditions and energy infrastructure vary widely from one market to another.

To meet these different needs, C&C TRUCKS will present a green transport system built around two truck models and an energy ecosystem.

The two trucks use different technology routes.

The Phoenix BEV, a battery-electric heavy truck, is designed for fixed routes, short- and medium-distance transport and operations that require high vehicle availability. It focuses on fast energy replenishment, strong climbing performance, controlled energy consumption and good performance in cold regions.

The Phoenix REEV, a range-extended electric heavy truck with a large battery and a small range extender, is designed for cross-regional and medium- to long-distance transport, as well as routes where charging and battery-swapping infrastructure is still limited.

The Phoenix REEV focuses on providing greater confidence for long-distance operations, more flexible energy replenishment and better compatibility with different routes.

The two technology routes are designed for different transport distances, road conditions and energy infrastructure, giving customers more options when moving toward new energy vehicles.

However, the truck itself is only one part of the solution.

Large-scale operation of new energy heavy trucks also requires better coordination between energy generation, storage, charging, battery swapping and vehicle operations.

To support this, C&C TRUCKS will work with ecosystem partners including Gotion High-Tech and Dianlala to showcase an integrated vehicle, solar, storage, charging and battery-swapping solution.

The solution can be adapted to different market conditions and provide more flexible ways to build energy infrastructure, helping lower the barriers to introducing new energy heavy trucks.

Strong sales support the solution

C&C TRUCKS has already shown strong market growth before its appearance in Hanover.

Since January 2025, the brand has recorded year-on-year growth of more than 100% in new energy vehicle sales for 18 consecutive months, making it one of the fastest-growing brands in the industry.

In the first half of 2026, C&C TRUCKS' new energy heavy-truck sales increased 184% year on year. In June, its monthly registrations reached a record high, placing the brand among the top eight in the industry.

Profitability has also improved.

In the first half of 2026, C&C TRUCKS recorded its first profit in 16 years.

Against a backdrop of intense price competition in the new energy heavy-truck market and pressure on industry profits, the result shows that the company is moving from rapid sales growth toward more sustainable development.

The growth is supported by Chery Group's “Passenger and Commercial Vehicles with Equal Importance” strategy and its technology capabilities in electrification and intelligent vehicles.

With support from Chery Group, C&C TRUCKS can develop products for different transport applications and respond quickly to changing market needs.

This means the Global Integrated Transport Solution is more than a combination of products and technologies. Its feasibility has also been tested through real customer orders.

Strong sales and real-world applications provide the foundation for C&C TRUCKS' appearance at IAA 2026.

From global launch to local markets

During IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, C&C TRUCKS will also complete the delivery of its first customer vehicle in Europe and Africa and sign strategic cooperation agreements with partners.

These moves are expected to help bring C&C TRUCKS products and solutions into real operations in overseas markets.

From the global launch of its transport solution to customer vehicle deliveries and new partnerships, C&C TRUCKS is working to adapt its technologies to the specific needs of different markets and operating conditions.

With its global strategy of “In somewhere, For somewhere, Be somewhere,” C&C TRUCKS sees its appearance at IAA 2026 as more than a product and technology showcase. It is also a step toward becoming part of the global commercial vehicle ecosystem and developing more localized operations.
