FAW TRUCKS, Al-Futtaim Sign 2027 Deal for 3,000 Commercial Vehicles
FAW TRUCKS and UAE-based Al-Futtaim Group have signed a strategic cooperation agreement covering 3,000 commercial vehicles for the West Asia region in 2027.
The signing ceremony took place in Dubai on November 2. It was attended by Leng Changchun, Assistant General Manager of FAW Jiefang and General Manager of FAW International, and Omar Al Futtaim, Vice Chairman and CEO of Al-Futtaim Group. Other senior representatives from both companies also attended the event.
Under the agreement, the two companies will expand their cooperation in commercial vehicles, generator sets, and local sales and service networks.
FAW TRUCKS will contribute its strengths in product development, technology and supply chain management, while Al-Futtaim will bring its local sales network, customer base and market experience. Using the UAE as a key base, the two companies plan to expand their business across West Asia, with a focus on port logistics, construction and long-haul transportation.

They also plan to introduce more products, attract new customers and strengthen sales and after-sales services in the region.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bringing generator sets to the local market, developing industrial customers, expanding sales channels and improving after-sales support. Combining FAW's product and technical capabilities with Al-Futtaim's local market network, the companies plan to explore generator set applications in construction, industrial production and backup power supply. They also aim to grow their commercial vehicle and power equipment businesses together.
During the visit, Leng Changchun and his delegation toured Al-Futtaim's spare parts center and commercial vehicle showroom. They learned about the group's spare parts storage and distribution, repair support, service network and customer service operations. The two sides also exchanged views on vehicle promotion, customer development and local sales.

Leng Changchun praised Al-Futtaim's regional after-sales service network and spare parts supply capabilities. The visit also strengthened communication between the two teams and their confidence in expanding cooperation across West Asia.

FAW TRUCKS will continue to pursue its strategy of technology development, green growth and international expansion, while accelerating the implementation of its SPRINT2030 international strategy. The company plans to use this partnership to strengthen its presence in West Asia, expand local sales and service operations, and move beyond vehicle exports toward a more comprehensive local business presence.
Through its cooperation with Al-Futtaim, FAW TRUCKS aims to provide reliable products and services for the region's transportation and industrial sectors.
