ZF to develop transmission for Foton
(chinatrucks.com, May 27, 2010) ZF has gained the prize of “the supplier in 2009” awarded by Foton, against high quality and reliability, and it will provide China made manual transmission for Aumark truck.
New Foton light commercial vehicle is to adopt 5S400 manual transmission produced by ZF as the standard configuration. The transmission will be put into production in ZF Transmission Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. ZF Steering System Co., Ltd, the adventure of ZF Shares Company and Bosch Company Limited, will provide leaf steering pump and 8098 type Servocom hydraulic steering machine for various vehicle types of Auman.
At the moment, ZF group has owned 20 manufacturers to produce transmission and chassis components, commercial vehicle transmission, axle system, and the like, and it has gained fully recognition and great market share in Chinese market.
