MAN is to increase investment to Sinotruk
(chinatrucks.com, Sep 1, 2010) It is predicted by MAN on August 26th 2010 that sales revenue of MAN in 2010 is to surpass 600 million Euros. At the same time, MAN is considered to increase investment to Sinotruk based on the cooperation of assets and technology. The cooperation range is to be expanded to medium truck area.
MAN has gained 25%+1 shares by the investment of 560 million Euros in 2009. It has reached lots of agreements at completely vehicle, core parts and components of engines, and operation management.
CEO of MAN group, George elaborates that China is the largest commercial vehicle market in the world, and the cooperation between MAN and Sinotruk is a long term friendship. At the moment, MAN has gained more than 25% shares of Sinotruk, and it means that there is lot of assets increasing space, and both parties will have deeper cooperation. It has great possibility that the cooperation program will be expanded medium truck field, besides heavy truck.
